Giving Tuesday was on Tuesday, November 28 but donations can be made all year!
Thanks to our members, Giving Tuesday 2022 was a HUGE success! Giving Tuesday is an annual event that encourages communities to show their appreciation for essential non-profit services that are available to them. Mark your calendars! This year Giving Tuesday is on Tuesday, November 28.
The senior center is experiencing an unprecedented growth in membership and participation. To meet the needs of our seniors, more activities and programs are being added, additional equipment is needed, and the center’s hours have been extended. With growth, there are the challenges involved with the day-to-day operation of the center. There is also the continued need for building maintenance and improvement projects.
Please take a moment to think about what the senior center means to you and how it has changed your life. This is your opportunity to make a difference and be a part of a special group of people who make a positive impact. Rama Marda, one of the center’s longtime members and significant benefactor stated, “Donating to the senior center is the same as investing in your own future. The center has enriched my life by friendships I have developed, activities I enjoy and organizing my day.”
