Aerobics
Tuesday/Friday 10:30 am - 11:30 am AND Thursday 1:15 pm - 2:15 pm
Description: This class is a full hour of fun designed for older adults to get their hearts pumping and their bodies moving. We start with a warm-up, followed by low-impact and simple dance routines designed to avoid stress on the knees, hips, and other joints. We also include activities to improve balance, handheld weights to improve muscle strength, mat work for abdominal muscles and legs, and stretching, which are all so important for older adults. Fun music is used throughout!

Be Balanced!
Wednesday 2:15 pm
Description: Be Balanced! is a muscle conditioning class that works on areas important for everyday activities, such as increasing muscular strength, endurance, range of motion, flexibility, and balance. All fitness levels are welcome, exercises can be performed standing (with a chair for support) or seated. Hand weights are recommended.
Chair Yoga
Wednesday 11:45 am - 12:45 pm
Description: This class is designed for students who may have difficulty getting to the floor and back up. The chair provides support and stability in standing and seated positions, allowing the student to experience a yoga class where gentle back-bends, forward bends and twisting postures are easily accessible. Participants will benefit by improving flexibility, strength, balance, posture and breathing. Suitable for people with limitations.
Gentle Yoga
Wednesday 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Description: Classes move at a steady pace, slowly cycling through a series of seated positions into a few standing poses. Gentle yoga helps to get the body out of stress mode, release tension, calm the mind and restore an overall sense of balance to the body and mind.
Luv 2 Dance
Tuesday AND Thursday 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Description: Age gracefully they say…well let’s get started! Our dance instructor will take you movin’ and groovin’ to the songs of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s through today! Imagine a complete workout of cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance, toning, and most importantly, fun…all in a one-hour workout. What a great way to get in shape!
Meditation
Monday 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Description: Meditation is a practice that helps increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation and enhance personal and spiritual growth. This class is open to new students as well as experienced practitioners. Relax, rejuvenate and give a one-hour gift to yourself every week to help step away from stress.
On Your Feet
Wednesday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Description: Get ready to try our new exercise class! This will be a fun filled “standing” full body workout that includes intervals of easy dance, cardio & resistance training using light hand weights and of course, exercising to some great music!! This class is perfect for anyone who is just starting an exercise program or those who want something a little less challenging than our regular aerobics class. Please bring hand weights, a water bottle and be ready for lots of fun!
Seniorcise
Monday and Thursday 9:15 am and 10:30 am
Description: This class is designed for all fitness levels. Participants will perform their exercises seated and standing, using a chair for support and assistance. The class is designed to increase flexibility and strength using resistance bands that are a great way for active adults to become stronger while easy on the joints. Come enjoy the upbeat music and feel energized as you exercise.
Tai Chi
Tuesday 9:15 am - 10:15 am
Description: A Chinese martial art and meditative movement class, Tai Chi is widely practiced for its healing benefits for the entire body, which include increased strength, balance and posture, reduce stress, increased relaxation and improved mind, body and emotional well-being.
Tap Time
Wednesday 11:10 am - 12:00 pm
Description: Tap dancing is a full-body workout, that improves balance and posture as well as exercises your mind! Our fun and social tap class is held at the Northampton Township Recreation Center (Newtown-Richboro Road) and is located in a beautiful studio with a dance floor built FOR tap dancing! Vinyasa Yoga
Tuesday 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Description: Vinyasa Yoga is one of the most popular styles of Yoga, you will calm your mind, stretch and strengthen your body and improve your balance with Vinyasa Yoga. This class offers a series of postures that flow continuously through sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures that link breath with movement to build strength, and improve balance and flexibility.
ZUMBA GOLD
Tuesday 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM
Description: Zumba Gold is our newest class! It is a fun, fat-burning dance workout that is a lower intensity version of the typical Zumba class. This is for all levels and is based on basic Latin rhythms and aerobic dance moves. No right or wrong here - join the party and have some fun!!
