Art With Heart

Let your imagination flow in this relaxed, all-levels watercolor workshop deisgned for pure enjoyment. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just picking up a bursh for the first time, this class is all about having fun, expressing yourself, and leaving perfection at the door.

Each participant will be provided with their own complete watercolor setup- no sharing, no searching for the red paint! You'll receive a reference image of the artwork we'll be creating together, and you'll paint your version on authentic watercolor paper. The best part? You'll leave with a beautiful, hand-painted keepsake made by you - ready to frame or gift with pride.

Class Dates: October 14th, November 11th, and December 9th.

Friendly Family Petting Zoo 

Bring the whole family to the Senior Center for a fun-filled visit from The Friendly Farm Animal Petting Zoo! This special event is open to all ages and offers a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of gentle, friendly farm animals. You will enjoy getting up close with a Peruvian alpaca, Miniature Sicilian donkey, sheep, goats, and even cheer on the always-entertaining duck races! The animals are exceptionally clean, well-cared for, and are beloved family pets that live on the Sleepy Hollow Horse Farm. Whether you're young or young at heart, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a hands-on farm experience, make lasting memories, and spend time with family and friends.

American Music Theater & Shady Maple Bus Trip

October 1st 1:15PM - Diabetes Prevention & Management – Have you noticed your A1C and glucose levels creeping up the past few years? Have you been wondering what to do about it? Then join a Doylestown Health educator to learn more about what role blood sugar has in your body, how to prevent high glucose numbers and what to do if you’ve already been diagnosed with diabetes. 

November 5th 1:15PM - How to Live to be 100 – There are 5 places in the world where the majority of people live to be over 100 years old. After careful studying, there are common threads throughout each community that allowed people to have low rates of chronic disease and live longer than the rest of the world. Join a Doylestown Health Educator to examine what makes these areas so unique and how we can take lessons from Blue Zones to enhance our quality of life.  

December 3rd 1:15PM - Heart Healthy Habits for the Holidays – Did you know that winter holidays bring a spike in cardiac events more than any other time of the year? Come learn from a certified health educator from Penn Medicine about healthy habits you can carry with you into this holiday season to help wit your heart health.
